The Refugee-led Innovation Fund is currently open to applications from refugee-led organizations in all countries. Applications close 30 June 2023 at 23:59. The Refugee Investment Network's new Resilient 100 Program

Through a new partnership with Silver Lining Ltd., a data-driven company providing small business support, the Refugee Investment Network (RIN) will provide 100 refugee-led and refugee-supporting companies with business coaching rooted in behavior-change science, investment readiness support, and networking – all virtually. To be eligible for the Resilient 100, a business must be at least partially refugee-owned or co-managed, OR supporting refugees in a measurable way through direct products and services, employment, workforce development, or improved humanitarian delivery capacity.

RRLI: RLO-to-RLO Funding (Uganda only)

RRLI are supporting the first-of-its-kind RLO-to-RLO Fund—a fund for refugees by refugees—housed within Asylum Access. The fund will aggregate contributions and redistribute them to RLOs around the world. Our US-based legally registered fund puts philanthropic power in the hands of refugees and offers donors a way to safely and smoothly fund RLOs. The purpose of the RLO-to-RLO fund is to catalyze the growth and sustainability of community-led responses to forced displacement situations within key designated countries. We believe that when community-driven efforts are well-resourced, community wellbeing will grow.

UNHCR Innovation Award 2022 (RLOs CAN APPLY)

The 2022 Award will focus on women-led organizations and girl-led organizations (WLOs) working with or supporting refugees, internally displaced persons, returnees, stateless persons and host communities. The Award will prioritize the organizations created or led by refugees and other persons of concern to UNHCR, but is also open to other community-based women-led organizations working in forced displacement context. This focus on women-led organizations seeks to award organizations that hold strong organizational values, principles, and commitments to gender equality and accountability to women and girls, as well as those that promote women in positions of leadership.

Beach Token

$BEACH is an innovative DeFi token where every 1% of every transaction funds direct beach clean ups around the world. We currently have beach cleanups taking place in Philippines, Tonga, South Africa, Ghana and we're about to start in Kenya and Sri Lanka. We also make sure to offset any emissions associated with the blockchain transactions with our own in-house offsetting projects including kelp farms and mangrove plantations. We are looking for trusted individuals anywhere in the world who care about plastic pollution and would be able to organise a team of roughly 20 litter pickers to do a weekly beach clean up. We will pay above the local salary to them and their team and in return all we ask is videos and photos of the clean up, and that they wear some T-shirts with our logo on it. Freedom Fund - Fund for "survivor-led" organisations in Kenya and Uganda

Deadline : 31st October 2021 Grant : US$ 15,000 The grant is meant to support the organisation as a whole and can be used wherever the organisation has decided it needs funding (operations, programs, office payments, technology purchases, etc.)

Grant for women-led, income-generating projects

Deadline : November 30th, 2021 Project budget : Up to US $5,500 for a one year project Objective : income-generating, self-employment projects for poor women who are members of a self help group

Grants for women-led and women’s rights groups and organisations

Grants between US$20,000 - US$ 500,000 Objective : to promote women’s rights, amplify their voices, increase economic opportunities and improve access to spaces of decision-making. Only organisations registered in African or Middle East countries can apply.
